Using type-type

type-type is a free, browser-based typing test and keyboard tester. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Results are estimates produced by the test in your browser and are not a certification of typing ability, employability or keyboard health. Use them for practice and informal checks.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload its servers, or use it to distribute malicious code. Automated access should be modest and must respect the robots policy. Do not misrepresent the service as your own.

Content and software

The type-type name, design and written content belong to their respective owners. Open-source components remain under their own licenses. You may link to the site and quote short passages with attribution.

Third-party services

The site may load Google Fonts, analytics or advertising tags as described in the privacy policy. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, type-type and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the site, including lost data, lost time or decisions made from test results.

Changes

These terms may change as the site evolves. The date above shows the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
